At Blackburn Wirth, we’re proud to continue our longstanding partnership with Hearts Alive Village to support animals in our Las Vegas community. This nonprofit helps rescue animals, connect pets with loving families, and keep pets in their homes through community programs, and is one of our partner charitable organizations.
This month, we sponsored the adoption fee for Raditz, and great news: He’s been adopted!
Finding a Home for Raditz
Raditz is a three-year-old Doberman Pinscher with a big personality and a love for adventure! He loves hiking, exploring, learning new skills, and spending time with his people. His new family now has an enthusiastic adventure buddy who’s always ready to spend time with his favorite people.
Raditz found his forever home, but there are plenty of other dogs in need of homes at Hearts Alive Village. Check them out here.
How to Adopt Through Hearts Alive Village
Adopting through Hearts Alive Village takes just a few steps:
- Apply online: Find a pet you like and submit an application.
- Talk with the team: A Hearts Alive Village team member will contact you to discuss whether your home could be a good fit.
- Meet them in person: Schedule a visit to get to know them and see if you’re the right match.
Every dog Hearts Alive Village adopts out is spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Adopters must be at least 18, and the team works to find a good match for every animal.
Our Partnership with Hearts Alive Village
Founded in 2013, Hearts Alive Village is a Las Vegas nonprofit that supports pets and their families through low-cost vet care, a pet food bank, foster and rescue programs, and its Cat Café.
Our team has volunteered at the Cat Café and the ReTreat, and we’ve partnered with Hearts Alive Village on a community pet supply drive. Covering Raditz’s adoption fee was one more way we’re showing up for the animals of our city.
Can’t Adopt? Here’s How You Can Still Help
Not ready to bring a dog home? You can still make a difference for the animals at Hearts Alive Village:
- Foster a pet: Hearts Alive Village offers full-time and flexible foster opportunities, including weekend outings, field trips, sleepovers, and short-term stays. Learn about fostering.
- Volunteer your time: Help care for cats at the Cat Café, socialize dogs at the ReTreat, assist at the adoption center, or work at the pet food bank. You can also support events or help transport animals. Explore volunteer opportunities.
